Philosophy and Goals
Eastgate Preschool was established to provide quality loving care and instruction for three-, four-, and five-year-old children.
* Our first concern is to provide a setting and atmosphere that is physically and emotionally safe for the children in our care.
* We endeavor to nurture each child, giving love and acceptance to each. We make every effort to provide our students with opportunities, materials, and settings in which they may explore their world socially, conceptually, physically, emotionally, and creatively in a safe and trusting environment.
* We delight in giving our students the opportunity to play and work cooperatively with other children their own age. This is the ideal age to teach cooperation as the children are both ready and eager to learn social relationships beyond those within the family.
* Our desire is that through teaching and experience each child will attain growth throughout their preschool career and emerge as creative, compassionate, and forward thinking happy little persons.

Faith
Our Christian Education Classes are meant to shape and mold our students in accordance to the Holy Bible. We see children as gifts from God, to be cherished, cared for, and taught the light of his love. As God loves each child individually, so should we also. We acknowledge and deeply appreciate the charge we have, with you, to be a part of God's plan for each child. We are guided in this by the words of Jesus, found in the Bible. Guidance Policy
At Eastgate Preschool we believe that helping children learn self-control is very important to their success. Our hope is that each child will learn self-discipline through careful guidance. Your child will be treated with kindness and respect. Our expectations will be kept within the child's capabilities and the child will be made aware of these expectations.
