Parent Participation
It is our firm belief that in order for optimum success, there must be a strong link between the school and the home. Learning starts in the home and is reinforced in the home. We strive to establish postive relationships with our students parents and encourage their participation inside and outside of the classroom. Preschool is a big step toward independence for your child and we want it to be his or her own school. At the same time we want parents to have special times of involvement and to be aware of what their children are learning and doing in school.

Parties
Parties during the year will include a costume party at Halloween, a Christmas party, a Valentine party, and an Easter party. Birthdays are special occasions in which a child may bring a treat from home for the class to share and celebrate.
Field Trips
As a part of our regular school program there are typically three to five trips scheduled each school year that follow along with the themes that are being taught in the classrooms. A parent or parent-designated adult must accompany and be responsible for the child on each trip.
